The Barton Mutual Group companies are all in their
2nd century of service. The combined premium
writings of the three companies exceeds $27 million.
Barton is the largest of all Missouri Mutuals as
measured by premium writings. We partner with strong
reinsurers to provide added security, as we further
spread risk worldwide. Our home office is located in
"small town America," Liberal Missouri. Mutuals are
“owned” by the policyholders. That makes our mission simple:
SERVICE TO OUR FELLOW MAN. There are no stockholders
to reward. Our goals extend way past quarterly
reports. Growth for stock appreciation is not part
